Everyone is different whether that is in shape, color or size. It's just the way it is. Unfortunately that fact is not yet very much accepted in the fashion industry. Not all sizes are represented and neither are all skin colors. It is time we change this. We should make women feel beautiful and welcome, not caring about their sizes, shapes or skin color. It would be amazing if a big department store such as Hudson's Bay could be a part of the Body Positivity movement. Spreading word about different kinds of beauty instead of just the ones determined by the fashion industry. And making every woman feel welcome to shop in their stores.
Translating this concept into a space turned out to be a shop in the shape of a woman. From atop it has the curves of the female body. The collage on the walls are meant to make you realize that every body is different but also beautiful in their own way. The quotes on the outside are to make people curious about what's inside this shop, and the bubbled ceiling and walls give the space a weird element that is very intriguing to look at and touch. This shop will make people rethink society's beauty standards and should make every body type feel welcome. It's all about celebrating every body, every woman and every size.
