Back in the late 1800’s women who were nervous, had insomnia and a decreased appetite were often diagnosed with hysteria or in other words a lack of sex. The complaints mainly occurred on nuns, virgins and widows, and they were sent to the doctor to get treated with an orgasm. In a nutshell that’s also how the vibrator got invented.

Nowadays we have learned a lot about the female body, the health benefits of sex and the risks of sex. Our knowledge as increased immensely but unfortunately it is not being taught in schools all that well yet. These days there are more than enough articles to be found about the benefits of sex. It’s good for your immune system, blood pressure, mental health and so much more.

In about 20 years from now, doctors will take having not enough sex way more serious. They will prescribe masturbation and sex for certain ailments, and sex-toys will be more a more mainstream and less of a taboo. Doctors will prescribe sex as a pain reliever, mental health booster, anti-aging method, cure against insomnia and blood pressure regulator before prescribing actual medicine. These are only a few of the health complaints that having more sex can cure. Doctors will prescribe you with a sex-toy to fur fill your needs, they will make masturbation a subject that’s less feared and just super normal.

There won’t be special sex-shops anymore but Pharmacies and drugstores will sell sex-toys just like aspirins or ibuprofen. It will be normal to have several sex-toys at home. To either use by yourself or to use with a partner.

Couples sex-therapy will be normal for people that are struggling with their relationship. Sex will be approached as a much more serious subject. For those who want to learn more about their own body they will be able to attend masturbation workshops where teachers will explain everything about how to love and pleasure yourself.

There will be less sexualization in the media and sex will be seen as normal and cool. Information about the subject will be more real. Sex will be less about reproduction but more about pleasure and health.
